Study of Monocot Ornamental Plants under Prayagraj Agro-climatic Conditions

An experiment was carried out during July 2022 to December in Shade net, Department of Horticulture, SHUATS, Prayagraj, Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with different Monocot Ornamental plants replicated three times. This houseplants that are also known remove harmful chemicals from the air, formaldehyde being its chemical choice air. Different used this experment were Philodendron ceylon, wendlandi, oxycardium, Thaumatophyllum xanadu, erubescens, Alocasia reginula, Syngonium podophyllum and Monstera deliciosa. It is concluded present investigation under study showed significant variation all Characters observed. The Variety ceylon Reported significantly better performance sustainable percentage, Sapling height, plant leaves length, Canopy radius, root spread another xanadu No, ,leaves length Hence varieties & could be recommended for Prayagraj Agro climatic condition.
